New Pilots Welcome

Edited: 4 days ago

US Central Airlines was founded May 1st, 2015 by a small group of flight simulation enthusiasts.

Our passion for flight simulation still holds true today. We are committed to providing our pilots with purpose, direction, and motivation to succeed.

If you are new to flight simulation, then you have come to the right place. We are a relaxed realism virtual airline, so we encourage learning without harsh criticism. However, we do encourage all our virtual pilots to fly realistically.

If you choose to join our virtual airline, you will begin your career with us as a trainee. Your first task will be to complete a training flight in the Cessna 172. We also recommend you complete training flights in the Cessna 208, Baron 58, King Air 350, and the Piper Cub. Those flights will be between KVBT Bentonville Municipal and KFYV Drake Field.

Earning type ratings is as follows...

C172 -> C208

C172/PA18 -> C185

B58/PA18 -> DC3

DC3 -> C46

C208 -> KODI/PC12/TBM7

C208/B58 -> B350

B350 -> B190/D228/CRJ9/DHC6/DHC8/E145/SH33

E145 -> A318/A319/A320/A321/B717/B727/B737

CRJ9 -> A318/A319/A320/A321/B717/B727/B737

A318/A319/A320/A321 -> A330

B717/B727/B737 -> B747

B747 -> B777/B787

A330 -> A340/A350/A380

If you are using the stock Piper Cub that came with your simulator, you will need to go to our documents section and download the super cub conversion. This will make your Cub perform like a Super Cub and be compatible with the FSAirlines client.

You will need to check the training aircraft list in the fleets menu to locate any aircraft you wish to fly.

Please check the Blackboard for frequent updates from our administration team.

P3Dv4 users can get a Cessna 172 by copy/pasting the one from FSX or download a FSX C172 Aircraft Pack from the P3D downloads section at Simviation.com. It should be the default FSX one with a repaint included.

Scoring over 95% on a training flight will earn you a type rating, and you will begin earning other type ratings in the same manner.

The speed in which you earn type ratings depend on how often you are available to fly and your performance on those flights.

As you progress through your virtual pilot career with us, you will also earn achievements and rank. Different channels in our Teamspeak server will be available to access when you reach a higher rank. The requirements for our ranks are listed on our forum.

Free gifts will be awarded to virtual pilots who stay active in our virtual airline and earn rank. These gifts may include an ink pen, coffee cup, or a t-shirt with our logo. The requirements to receive these gifts are listed on our forum. *Availability of some of these items may be limited.

Inactive pilots will be removed after 90 days. It's important to log in from time to time, even if you don't fly. Removed pilots will have all rank and type ratings revoked. If you decide to rejoin, you will need to earn everything back. No exceptions will be made. We do this to make it fair to pilots that stay active.

  • This tree represents the aircraft training you need to partake in order to earn the training type rating for the next aircraft. When you earn the type rating on the left, you will receive the training type rating on the right. Once you earn an aircraft's type rating, you can begin booking regular flights anywhere that aircraft is located. Be sure to refer to the fleets menu on FSAirlines to locate the aircraft you want to fly. In order to book a flight, will need to refer to the book flight menu on FSAirlines and buy a ticket to move your virtual pilot to that aircraft's location. We will update this page with more aircraft soon. Earning type ratings is as follows... • Pilots, You will start out as a Trainee, and your first task as a virtual pilot is to earn a type rating in the Cessna 172. You can do this by scoring >90% on 2 training flights in the Cessna 172. Once you've registered on FSAirlines.net, and we have approved your application, click on Book Flight, Buy Ticket, and move your virtual pilot to a location that one of our Cessna 172s are located at, such as KVBT Bentonville Mun. You can locate any aircraft by finding it in our fleets menu and noticing it's location in the column on the right. Click Book Flight again, and you should see training routes marked in yellow. If you do not see any training flights, contact an admin. Click one of the check marks to schedule the flight. 1. Start your simulator 2. Go to an airport that has one of our Cessna 172s 3. Start your FSAirlines tracker (download and install the BETA from FSAirlines.net) 4. Click flight information 5. You should see the route information (training flights are yellow) 6. Click fly 7. Load the amount of fuel shown on your flight briefing (or use a fuel calculator) 8 Click fly 9. Fly your route 10. When you land, taxi, and park, click finish flight on your tracker.
